At Aachi Global School, Literary Day was celebrated with a special event titled “Walk the Book”, where middle school students from Grades 7, 8, and 9 brought the pages of literature to life through creative expression and performance.
As part of the celebration, students transformed into famous literary characters and renowned English authors from diverse literary periods such as the Renaissance, Romantic, Victorian, and Modern eras. Each learner dressed up with carefully chosen costumes and props that reflected their characters’ essence and performed short monoacts or dialogues drawn from original literary works.
The event aimed to encourage research, creativity, and confidence as learners explored their chosen personas, memorized key lines, and delivered expressive performances. Through this engaging activity, students not only showcased their understanding of literature but also developed a deeper appreciation for the art of storytelling and character portrayal.
The Literary Day celebration truly reflected the spirit of reading, imagination, and performance — making it a memorable experience for both participants and the audience.
